ENGAGE your Leadership

What a difference one conversation can make!  Last week, I had the opportunity to partner with the Pyramid Group to co-facilitate the Southwest Louisiana Chamber’s Leadership Program: “Day at the Legislature”.   Participants were asked to follow the protocol & speak with a Louisiana Legislator about a bill that was important to them.  They asked the legislator why they authored a bill, what the history behind the law was, & what the pending issues are.  It was amazing what they found out & what impact they had.  But even more important was how empowered they felt in having the conversation. 

When is the last time you felt empowered by a conversation?  Whether it is your elected leadership or your office leadership, I encourage you to ENGAGE your leadership in a conversation.  The difference can have a deep impact.
